It is great confusion that which one is the best approach for preventing violence in the society- public health or criminal justice. After observing the current trend in violence, it can be stated that criminal justice can be considered as the best approach to prevent violence as it involves several procedures of law enforcement. Criminal justice approach involves rehabilitation for the offenders in order to prevent them from committing other crimes. Even in the criminal justice approach, there is a facility of providing moral support to the criminal as well. Criminal justice approach includes prosecution, police, prisons and courts for preventing violence.
